c:\windows\desktop ?

If they squeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?

C:\Documents and Settings\<YourUserName> ?

Just throwing out possibilities, although that one is for Windows XP...

ok, make a text doc on the desktop, call it something obscure like "ab12erfdgt" then do a search for it

first go to windows directory and press the underlined text that reads "show the contents of this folder" then make sure you can see the hidden files "go to tools-folder options-view-show hidden files and folders"
now the desktop is in
windows\desktop
or if u have multi users using windows you will find it in
windows\profiles\username\desktop

The desktop folder is a hidden folder. In explorer go to veiw then folder options then enable show hidden and system files. Your desktop folder should then become visible under the windows folder.
