Would never be able to call this a steal either just looking at the
pics, 900 could only be an ok price for what he ended up with, or too
high. What does 'ready to go' mean? It's right next to a loading
dock, or it works? Maybe a missing lockdown bar? Can't see the
cabinet worth doo-doo in the pics. Wear in front of the 4-bank. Could
be broken plastics, but with that picture I wouldn't bet a nickle one
way or the other. Don't even know if it has any boards in it, can't
tell if any damage to backglass ink...Frenchy

it's popular because it has widespread appeal - you don't have to be a
genius to figure out how to play it, everyone knows how to play pool.
One of the first games to use the voice to cue you as to what to do I
think (might even be the first?). Dunno, I always want one, but not at
the prices they're commanding. I had a LE back in 91 or so but traded
it in.... wish I'd kept it instead of, like, Black Knight..... BK seem
to top out around $600-$1100, who'd thought that EBD would be in such
demand??

Yeah i know where I can get a couple of EBD's sub $500/ea. I will
eventually go and get them and fix them up and sell them. The game wont
be a keeper or ever be in my collection. I cant stand that game. I
think its one of the most annoying pins I have ever played.. But for
some reason they bring high $$$'s in nice condition.

i agree, and would add i'd never buy a sight unseen item for that much
money.

the stock market is one giant electronic chain letter.
Governor Henry Blasdel, Nevada's first governor after statehood, voiced his
opposition to the proposed new act in the strongest of terms: "I know of no
greater vice than gambling. It is against public morals. It saps the very
foundations of society. It induces intemperance. It begets idleness. It
fosters immorality. It multiplies crime. It leads to reckless extravagance.
In short, it is the root of all evils."

I had pics of that pin sent to me, pf had a lot of wear, not a
candidate for touch-up, would need a replacement or overlay. Plastics
weren't in great shape either, cab was there but a fair amount of
scratches. I think it went for the right price, that's about what they
go for in that condition.

Well, when I was looking recently, I could barely find *anything* for
less than 1500 no matter the condition. So that's why I considered
this a good price.
The prices on EBDs do vary widely. I've seen one *sell* for $3000 and
also for $600. Most I found were in the 1900-2200 range. I bought
mine recently for $1200. It's just a really unpredictable title.
