Can an Athlon 64 DTR be used in place of a regular Athlon 64 desktop motherboard? If so, isn't the only difference the heatspreader and voltage/temp? I want to know, because I would rather have a heatsink that directly contacts the die with no middle interface that would cause less thermal dissapation. If so, can THG do a short article that states you can do this? Thanks.
