Fresh install, old program not working

..I had WINDVD Creator installed on my system , XP Pro SP2. I had a problem(
not related) so I did a fresh install. When I tried to put WIN DVD back in, I
get the message, "This is not a Qualified machine". I went to their website
and downloaded a trial version and it worked fine. I deleted the trial
version and tried My Software install disc and got the same, This is not a
qualified machine notice. Can anyone help me with this ?

I guess your WinDVD CD is an upgrade version, do you have
the original distribution CD?

Yes, It came bundled with a DVD Burner, wich I have changed, bbut it still
worked with my new burner until I re-installed XP

You need to have a qualifying application, the original
program that was there when you installed the Win DVD the
first time. It seems that you are trying to install an
upgrade software without having the prior program installed.

You'll have to buy new software IF you can't find the
correct prior software.

Some pretty good answers, but what you really have to do is put the
burner that your WInDVD came with back into the computer. The software
came with a specific brand of burner and is looking for that burner.
Went through the same problem with a Yamaha burner years ago, it was
dead, but when I put it back,
the software installed.
