Favorites icon on my desktop

Hello,
how do I add a favorites icon to my toolbar or desktop?

Press the start button, click on computer. When the window opens up with your drive lists, on the left of the window pane you will see the favorites star, simply left click and drag and drop on the desktop, on your toolbar, or where ever you wish, and it will create a shortcut.
