Replacement WinXP 64-bit Technology Advancement Disk?

I purchased a copy of WinXP x64 from Microsoft using the Technology
Advancement program (trading in one of my 32-bit Windows CDs). I ended up
never using or installing the software because I could not get all the
drivers I needed. So, I decided to sell the software.

However, the buyer of the disk states it is scratched and won't install.
He's sending me the disk back and I will probably end up giving him a refund.
MY QUESTIONS are:

If the disk is indeed damaged, how difficult is it for me to get a
replacement? I'm not sure I have a receipt for it but I did get it directly
from Microsoft so will that make it easier for me to get the replacement?

Can Microsoft tell me of the disk/key has been used? I'm not sure the
buyer did not actually install the software and is now just trying to scam me
out of a refund.

If necessary, I can I have Microsoft reset or invalidate the product key and
give me a new one to use?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

How to replace lost, broken, or missing Microsoft software or
hardware
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;326246

Send the replacement disk back to the person who bought the
software. The installation CD holds no real value. It's the CD
key and the Certificate of Authenticity that represent the true
cost of the software. In hindsight, you should have made it
clear that there would be no refund, only a replacement. That's
how it works in the retail world.

Go back to whoever you got it from. Do you have a legal key for it? I doubt it.
You can or I should say you should post this to the Windows 64x group. Since you are posting via the CDO interface you should copy\paste the following link into your browsers address bar. Also explain your issue in the body of your post and not in the header if you would like a proper answer.
