Doing a new build and I get the parts later today, I was doing some research on some of the drivers I was unfamiliar with and I came across- Intel rapid Storage Technology raid drivers,
I was wondering If I should install those or just use the mobo Raid controller and not worry about it. I have been using an AMD build for the past 4 years, and I just got a 3570k, and ASRock extreme3, seen the IRST drivers in the download list as I was preparing my install software being completely new to it I felt more comfortable asking people who have used it and have real world experience with it. Is IRST worth it?. If so the other question I had was do I do the F6 installation, or should I just install everything normal and after the OS installation do the non-F6 driver install.
The HDD's I am using in Raid will be just some 7200 rpm 500GB drives I have been using in raid for the past year, going to get a SSD when I can afford it.
