MICROTOOLS INC INTRODUCES ITTYMIDI PLAYER AND ITTYMIDI SYSEX MANAGER
BUNDLED WITH A PALM

SIMSBURY, CONNECTICUT - December 7, 2004 - MicroTools Inc announced
today that they now sell their innovative ittyMIDI Player and ittyMIDI
SysEx Manager software in a bundle with a Palm IIIxe, serial hotsync
cable and ittyMIDI Serial to MIDI Out cable. The package is available
for an introductory price of $99.99 through the end of 2004.

Andrew Springman, President of ittyMIDI.com, said, "ittyMIDI Player
and SysEx Manager combined professional MIDI player features with the
small size and stability of the Palm platform. The ittyMIDI Palm IIIxe
Bundle adds simplicity and low cost to the equation."

What is ittyMIDI Player?

ittyMIDI Player converts a Palm Powered® handheld into a full-featured
MIDI player, capable of controlling any MIDI-enabled musical
instrument. Connecting via the communications port, ittyMIDI Player
combines the portability and reliability of a hardware MIDI player with
the flexibility and ease of use of a software player. It has been
designed to function as either a practice tool or an accompaniment
tool, suitable for both professional and amateur musicians.

ittyMIDI Player provides complete control of MIDI files and
instruments, including on-the-fly, non-destructive editing of volume,
mute, tempo and pitch. Tempo can be altered from -99% to +127% of the
original, and the pitch can be transposed ± 24 semitones on any
channel. The volume on each channel can be independently controlled or
muted with a simple on-screen mixer. ittyMIDI Player's Non-GM
Mapping, Channel Mapping and Suppress GM Enable features support
playing GM files on non-GM synths. Instrument mapping can also be done
on a per song basis. All changes are stored in playlists, making
multiple variations of the same song possible.

Using the Windows® SongLoader application, ittyMIDI Player users can
manage a library of hundreds of MIDI files on their desktop, on their
handheld and on memory cards. These files can be assembled into an
unlimited number of automatic or custom playlists that can even be
beamed to other users with the tap of a button.

ittyMIDI Player also features MIDI THRU, Count In Measures, Disabling
of Palm Alarms, Tuning, Practice Loops, and different play modes,
including ittyMIDI's convenient Play One mode which plays the current
song and queues the next song with a single tap. It even allows you to
change the next song in the queue while the current song is playing.

What is ittyMIDI SysEx Manager?

ittyMIDI SysEx Manager is a universal SysEx dump utility for the Palm
OS. It can send SysEx data from SYX or Standard MIDI files to a
MIDI-enabled device. It features the ability insert a delay between
each message to give slower devices time to process incoming messages.
SysEx Manager can also send the SysEx data from any MIDI file.

The free ittyMIDI Songloader utility can be used to load SYX and MIDI
files into the Palm or memory card. The files are available in either
ittyMIDI SysEx Manager or by ittyMIDI Player.
You can then incorporate SysEx files right into ittyMIDI Player's
playlists. Now you can reconfigure your synth in the middle of a
performance!

With an ittyMIDI Converter Box (not part of the bundle), SysEx Manager
can also record bulk SysEx data into the MIDI books used by both Player
and SysEx Manager. ittyMIDI SysEx Manager can insert time delays into
the SysEx recording, enabling playback in ittyMIDI Player.
