Asus 27" Resolution Out Of Range

I bought a ASUS VE276Q and an nVidia EVGA 570 and trying to run it at 1600x1200 resolution since supposedly it can run it higher than that. When I go to 1600x1200 it gives me an 'out of range' error. The max I can set it at is 1600x1024 but it should go higher.

Any suggestions?

That monitor supports 1920x1080, so 1600x1200 is too high on the vertical resolution.

Yep. The vertical resolution cannot exceed 1080.
