Hello,

This machine has only a mono mic input, does anybody change this into a
stereo line in? I'm also interested in a link to the connections of the ICH4
south bridge.

I know the answer ;-)

pin 23 and 24 of the Sigmatel STAC9750 IC are the stereo line inputs.
Keep in mind DELL's misleading STEREO microphone input is really a mono
microphone input.
Even the balance slider in de mic record mixer is out greyed.
Next job is to open the machine and connect the 23 and 24 pins to the jack.
