I dont know if some one already posted on this subject but i didn't see one.

Xbitlabs say we could see dual core processors from intel in 2005.You can read the whole article here <A HREF="http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20040507095407.html" target="_new">http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20040507095407.html</A>
and more in deapth here <A HREF="http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20040509013554.html" target="_new">http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20040509013554.html</A>

With the last prescott to come in Q1 2005 maybe we could see them buy Q2?I wonder can they really do dual core processor soon than they thought or did they just rush them into market. Also i wonder if they will have hyper-threading.
Wouldn't that make it act like 4 processors?

Has any one else heard any thing else about this?

Oh yeah 40k

I'll upgrade probably to the first company that releases their dual core chip. Maybe that'll be AMD since Intel has just re-arranged their roadmap but ATI hasn't. I guess Intel's hyperthreading won't be as much of a big deal once AMD goes dual core.
