xp 2000+ overclock possibilities?

Hi,

How hard can you push the XP 2000+ cpu (Palmino i think ?!?!?). I want to overclock my CPU, perferably using stock cooling, or should i just start counting out the pennies for a new CPU? (any suggestions on what to get would be appreciated too !!!!)

If it is palomino (1.75v in vcore) it wont oc too well with stock cooler.
The oc champ right now is the xp-m chip (2400+, 2500+ or 2600+) They can use any fsb, run on most boards, and have the multiplier unlocked. Most run them at about 2.2 gigs.
Mine maxes out at just over 2.4. Since they can be had for about $100, they are a very good deal. I'm using a vantec aeroflow heatsink+fan. There are better, but this one is just noisey enough.

you should be able to oc to about 2100+ with ~138FSB
that's what i got before with stock cooling and a Palomino
