thank you
no it has i815 chipset.and acorp mainboard (acorp i815epd)
i couldnt find anything about apic in my bios where exactly it is ? or does it have a different name ?
thank you.
i'm sorry dood, for some weird reason i was thinking old chipset boards you don't need a terminator.
now back to your apic errors. apic errors usually aren't a cause, but a symptom. the best thing to do is to flash your bios first. now if that doesn't fix your problem, you can try a few other things. if you have a "load fail safe" option in your bios, use it for testing. also disable anything you don't need to do just an installation of your OS. my best guess is its some setting you should be able to change that is causing the problem if the bios flash doesn't get you going.
also run <A HREF="http://www.memtest86.com/" target="_new">this</A> program and make sure your ram is fine as a last resort.
at this point i'm going to wait till after you flash the bios. it would also be nice if you gave us more info. when it happened? how it happened? what were you doing when it happened? when it started to happen? has it always happened? did you try any other OS? tell us anything that might help.
