NEED HELP: Getting Online

Actually, not being able to get online is a good thing in this case.

SP1 and SP2 do a lot to fix security issues in your computer. If you don't
have the ability to download it, you can order it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx

You may find that it fixes a lot of your problems also. If not, you've
still got the option of doing a repair install (which'll let you save your
data and settings).
