With the new games releasing such as EverQuestII,Half-Life2 and Doom3 i need to be prepared. I've been reading up about the Radeon x800 and i've been leaning towards that as a graphics card for a while...

Anyways, i'll probably end up buying one by august, could anyone suggest some computer specs for the best possible computer for gaming?

Before you buy anything, compare all the possibilities. Look at all the benchies <A HREF="http://www.ocworkbench.com/2004/epox/8kda3+/8kda3+-3.htm" target="_new">Here</A>

Hrm... hang on a sec... i thought only the fxs' are multiplier unlocked, and yet the reviewer goes from 8x to 9x on the A64. Is this common to all A64 CPUs?

One of my friends just built a computer with the AMD 64 3000+, Radeon 9800 Pro, 1GB Latency 2 PC3200 Ram, etc. So far he has been happy as heck and seen great results in most of the latest games out right now. He has applied for the EQ II Beta, so if he gets in, then i'll repost with his Everquest II results.
