plese help, Not in windows XP documentation!
i want to setup such folder so:
People :

can not delete files
can not delete folders
can not modify files ( change the content of the files)

can read the files
can create folders and files
can copy files and folders from another folder to this folder.



I will use this place to protect and collect all of the interesting stuff that i find on the net.
i want to read, put and organize this place without been able to delete or modify the contents of the folder, because me, or some of my nasty friend could accidently delete something<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by lavina on 10/14/02 02:00 PM.</EM></FONT></P>

do you have local admin rights? i assume this is a work computer.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

Right click on the folders > Click Security tab, see what kind of access you have to the folders/files. (1 folder at a time)
