CPU Fan For AMD Athlon 1800+

Hi everybody, right now I am running a volcano 7+. Right now the settings for it is on high speed. I was wondering if there is another alternative CPU fan which will cool my CPU and also be silent? If you have any suggestions and recommendation I would greatly apprecaited. Thanks.

It depends on how much you want to spend. Thermalright and Swiftech make great heatsinks. Maybe a Thermalright ALX800 mated to a Vantec Stealth 92 mm fan. The Stealths run about 21 dBa. This solution would be about $30 + shipping at newegg.com.

 

[Crashman]

These things don't require extensive cooling, I just put a cheap Coolermaster cooler on one a few weeks ago, no heat problems, and it's quiet.
