I have been having problems with several games since I rebuilt my PC. Many of my older games shut down after preview screens. When started back up there is no sound. Some just lock up. Any ideas????

My System:
Win98SE
800mhz Athlon
768 Ram
PNY Geforce4 MMX440
Aztec PCI-338 A3D Sound Card
40G WD drive

Quick Notes: I did have a problem where the older sound card had an IRQ confict that I corrected? in the bios (not using autodetect) picked up on one of the forums here.

Any help or ideas would be great.

I checked the other day. It a new motherboard and the drivers on the web site are dated mid 2001 I also checked the bios and I am current as well.

Where ever you go, there you are.
