It's funny to see that 90% of the time AMD win in these benchmarks and most IT "professionnal" still buy DELL Xeon based server/workstation.

It's kind of pathetic. The company I work for is in this bandwagon too, I got a "fight" last week with an Oracle DB admin, he told me that AMD suck badly! Wow! He is THE DB admin in my shop, I couldn't believe what he was saying. But, I'm not the BOSS, I'm only the little telecomm tech who supposedly don't know anything about x86 architecture...

They will keep buying DELL! It's sad!

you aren't the first dood. you're right, it is sad... real sad.

yahiko81, also another member here and a close friend of mine was in the same situation and from what i heard from him, he got them to go AMD. i'm very proud. keep pushing it dood. AMD deserves more than what they are credited for and thats no secret.
