Looking for a Gaming Laptop $800 Budget

1_What is your budget?
I have a budget of $800. Nothing more, do not want to go over.

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15 inches, more or less.

3_What screen resolution do you want?
Doesn't matter.

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Desktop replacement.

5_How much battery life do you need?
Doesn't matter, I'm ok on 2-3 hours, but more the better.

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Yes, I will be palying games with tihs laptop. Would like to run pc games like left 4 dead and Counter strike on High. More demanding games like Crysis and Mass effect 2 on Med.

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)
Watching movies, listening to music, school work. Gaming is what I will be using this pc for the most part.

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?
250GB-500GB

9_If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Best laptop for the best price suited for me. No specific sites.

10_How long do you want to keep your laptop?
Long term use, probably for a few years.


11_What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
DVD ROM is fine.

12_Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
No specific brand.

13_What country do you live in?
USA

14_Please tell us any additional information if needed.
Nothing that hasn't already been said, but I appreciate the time you guys are taking to answer my question.

Anything cheaper,then the VGA downgrades significantly,it goes to something like HD 5470M/Intel 4500MHD which are noticeably slower than a 5650M

I just did a search for oyu, you aren't going to find anything else that competes with that, unless you increase your budget.

Hey thanks for your help but what I meant was that same laptop is on amazon for about 20 bucks cheaper.

Maz, didn't you find a laptop with a 260M on another thread? wouldn't that be better than a 5650? That other one was only $684. Is it still around?
