Hi, I would like to know what the best type of mac to get would be. I want a laptop, and my budget is $2500.

Would be good,just upgrade its HDD to 7200RPM and its LCD to the High-Res version(1680x1050) and you'll be fine

Well i just posted a link in my last post.Just choose the "# 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm [Add $53.00]" and "# MacBook Pro 15-inch Hi-Res Glossy Widescreen Display [Add $105.00]"(or the Anti-glare model if you want a matte screen)

Is it really necessary to spend that much? I mean, mostly what you want to do is "work stuff" which sounds to me like going online, using Microsoft Office or some variant, and email?
If you have that much money to spend, go for Maziar's recommendation, but if it were me I'd get a much cheaper PC.

ya..... samurai has a good point....i dont understand todays fixation on MACS......you can get a great business PC from Lenovo or HP...and save lots of money
