Document scanners

Hello,
I currently have an HP ScanJet 7400C with a document feeder and a slide adapter. However, I have upgraded to Windows 7 and it is not compatible. I want to replace it and network the replacement on my home network. Does anyone have a suggestion regarding which scanner will be the best replacement?
