Dell Truemobile 1300 and SMC Card

I could associate with the local wi-fi network, but either super slow,
or would fail 85% of the time. I changed the "Rate" in the utility to
2, from best available, and bingo it worked. I don't understand, but
after spending about 20 hours trying to get it to work, I thought I
would pass along.
