I'm very interested in purchasing one of their notebooks that has the ATI Mobility Radeon 9600, but I've never heard of the brand name.

Does anyone know anything about this company?

They are - at least that 800 model that is just now coming out - using CLEVO as the ODM.

if doing a CLEVO lappie, you might try pctorque OR powernotebooks.com and check them out on ResellerRatings.com -- they sell the SAGERS and that will be similar/same as the one Eurocom is selling (or i think it will be if you're talking about the one coming out with 800fsb etc...)

they are a Canadian company who's strength has been to bring new parts particularly destop parts early tothe notebook market. Therefore their battery life is relatively short (that is the desktop replacement lines) They also make a great deal of the ability to upgrade their hardware to keep the notebook current. Price wise I think they are comparable or sometimes better than other manufacturers. Make sure that you will be able to ghet service in a timely fashion, I do not know if they have as many repair depots internationally.

after reading ur post i went to the web site to check out the notebook. i've been wanting to buy a notebook too (check out my gericom thread). i searched the web. it seems their notebooks have a lot of issues. so im thinking of hanging on for a dell or hp to come out with the radeon 9600 (if ever). although if u search around, u will find they have had a good no. of complaints too. its a pretty annoying situation.

I just ordered a SICK Sager laptop from www.pctorque.com . I've been looking around and based from user comments, they're a really good company. (Both Sager and PCTorque). It's got a 128 meg Radeon Mobility 9600 Pro, too!

if u look at the eurocom monte carlo u might notice that it has the exact same casing as the alienware 51-m system (except the color). especially if u look at the back, all the ports r exactly the same. might mean its a good notebook as alienware is known for quality construction and cooling. im seriously considering buying from them. hp has come out with a ridiculous 17' inch notebook and i think dell will follow suit. although some might like those huge notebooks.
