I just did a fresh install of XP SP2 and i have this small but annoying
problem:

There is always this "Safely Remove Hardware" notification icon asking me to
remove my HDD drive... I don't get it. It's not an external drive, simply a
standard internal SATA drive (WD Raptor) and it's working just fine.

If I bring up the dialog and click "Stop", I get an error saying the drive
cannot be stopped. Obviously since it contains my primary partition and
windows. Rebooting doesn't help, neither does unplugging and replugging the
drive.

Anyone?
Thanks.
