Pc to tv converter

Hello,
i am having a problem with a pc to tv converter. whenever i connect the laptop to tv through converter both screens flash in and out going black and then good again for a few then blank again and so fort without stopping.
what can i do?

The only thing I can really think of is that Windows cannot find a happy medium for screen resolution when it is trying to replicate the desktop onto both screens. If you have an alternate connection for your tv like vga or hdmi I would choose that instead.

My guess would be that pauls3743 is correct. Does your laptop support 1920x1080?

If your TV is HD (1080i/1080p), that is most likely the cause.
