After I installed SP1 for Win XP Pro I got a phantom M drive which I can't delete. Does anyone know what the hell this is? It reads that the drive has 0 space available. All other drives read normal. Very wierd indeed. Any help would be great.

Hmm.. Very weird. Does it try to say what kind of drive it is? That won't help, but I'm just wondering.

I'm not really stupid...... I just play one on TV.

Another thought. If you have the TweakUI for windows XP, go to the drives and uncheck M:. It won't fix anything but it will hide it.

Well when I double click it it says to insert a disk into drive M. The drive shows up along my other hard drives. Its not hurting anything but it's just annoying when you can't figure out what the hell is going on. The drive doesn't even show up under Computer Management in the Administrative Tools. Maybe I'll just leave it. I'm sure I'll see a knowledge base issue about it on microsoft's site soon. hehehe...

I found out what the M drive is. It's the onboard Winbond Memory Stick Storage Device. Even though nothing is attached it shows in my computer. I can live with that. At least it's not a problem.
