Hello,

What is the type and value of the bypass capacitors which are in parallel with the 470uF/50 v. electrolytic capacitors on the PCBs ?

Do not know specifically but the exact value is not important. Usually you would use polypropolene caps as bypass. Capacitance around .01uf at 50v would be fine.

I found a friend that has 2ea. Amber 70, he told me that the bypass caps positevely are: .1 uF/200V but he don`t know the type.

Do you think that it is possible to replace all of them with MKT ones of the same value ?.

Someone knows the type of the by pass capacitors (0.1uF/200V) installed on the PCBs of the Amber Series 70 manufactured in 1981?.

If so, can tell me if they could be replaced with MKT type ?.
