Can i use a old tv as monitor

hi

i really want to run my mac in dual monitor and i currently have a monitor and a old tv on my desk (for retro gaming).
is there any way i could use my old tv as a second monitor, if so what adaptors do i need.
the tv is scart and rca.

If you say "old monitor" as not an HD one, don't bother, the quality will be terrible, text pretty much unreadable unless you use 30pt font.
