Hi

The only thing you may need is a SATA data cable of the correct length, (depends on which size of case) and possibly 4 screws for mounting the disk into the case.
The PC should recognise the disk at first start up.

Windows will probably request you re boot the PC.

If this is a brand new hard disk you will need to partition & format it before you can put any data on it.
(Disk Management via Computer Management via Control Panel)
The drive letter assigned will be after your DVD drive

The only thing which may go wrong is the PC may get confused about which drive to boot up from (bios setting)
