I have seen that Clawhammer and Newcastle were offering the Athlon64 3200+. Which one should I choose or is it the exact samething?

2.0Ghz 1mb L2 cache(less Ghz but more cache) or 2.2Ghz 512k L2 cache(more Ghz but less cache)

That might be the only option at this point. I was going to get the "far cry game"/mobo/cpu from zipzoomfly but they only have the 512 version of 3200+ apparently.
From what I gather from asking around the higher clocked one is a bit faster stock but if you oc the higher cache is better.

It may not be an issue. Has amd stopped making the 1024 cache version?

I'd take the one with more cache and overclock it.

If you're not overclocker, then higher freq's the way to go.
