Have you ppl noticed <A HREF="http://www4.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20040619/socket_775-49.html" target="_new"> this chart </A> ?

What is going on here ? S775/D0 seems to increase power consumption by <b>50%</b> over Prescott on S478 ? Its not like prescott on S478 was a cool chip ! Is this an error, or am I missing something ? And how the hell did they measure power consumption of just the cpu's ?

yeah taht is pretty strange, i saw the 90w consumption and couldnt help but laugh, but i dont see how they got those numbers.
