Plugged in, Not Charging Tags: Battery Laptops Asus Last response: June 14, 2010 5:33 AM in Laptops & Notebooks Share Doctor Jest June 14, 2010 3:17:42 AM I recently bought a new laptop, an Asus g60jx, and when I put the mouse over the battery icon, it says "96% available (plugged in, not charging)." I thought maybe it was a problem with Windows 7 or maybe I have a bad battery. Any other suggestions? More about : plugged charging Anonymous a b D Laptop June 14, 2010 4:37:03 AM Does it run on battery ? Then the battery is charged and therefore is not charging further, yet. Doctor Jest June 14, 2010 4:50:05 AM Are you saying that even if it says 96%, it won't charge up to 100 even if it is plugged in? Doctor Jest June 14, 2010 4:57:38 AM Alright, I'll run it down to 50 or so and see if it still comes up. Doctor Jest June 14, 2010 5:33:32 AM You were absolutely right, I guess I should be just a little less paranoid next time, thanks. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
