hi,
my williams 4 player E/M ( honey)will not ring up 10 point hits. as
soon as you activate any target worth 10 points, the 10 point relay
engages and holds. it doesnt release until the game is over. this
happens with one player, or thru 4 players. i've looked at the
schematic, being 4 player, its pretty involved. there are 10 point pop
bumpers that become 100 points thru a rollover switch. that feature is
working, the 100 reel moves. activating the 10 point relay manually
doenst move the score reel either, no matter what player. the circuit
appears to have a hold feature for this relay, though i dont know why .
any ideas? as always ,thanks.

on the 10 point score reel there is an end of stroke switch.
is one leaf of the switch broken? if so fix it. start with
that and let us know.

does a pop bumper cause this? if so, check the pop bumper
relay. if that is staying energized, then the 10 point
relay will stay energized too. on gottlieb's there is an NC
EOS switch on the pop bumper coil itself that turns off the pop
bumper relay (and hence the score reel). williams games don't
*usually* work that way though. but check that out.

hi, i checked all the score reel switches, all good. it didnt seem to me
likely all four players 10 point reels could be off anyway. besides, if
the eos switch was wacked, would the score reel solenoid at least pull
in?
thanks
