Hi to all those who have offered advice on making a VPN
work through this Microsoft router.

I have tried all suggestions: alter the base station
address to 192.168.1.1; activate DMZ; and institute port
forwarding.

I've tried each solution on its own, and in every
combination and permutation imaginable. Nothing works.

For port forwarding I used the ports 500 and 1723, which
I found on another thread on another site to be the ones
used by Nortel Contivity Client. Perhaps these are not
the right ports to use with the MN-700. Otherwise I have
no idea why none of these suggestions worked.

Chalk up another failure for Mr. Gates!!!
