I Dont wanta press the BUTTON!!!

This has been bugging me and I finally decided to do something about it. What do I do so that my system will completely power down after I shutdown in windows. It always requires me to manually press the power button. I get that annoying message, "It is now safe to shutdown your computer." I just want it to turn off when i press shutdown. I dont want to have to wait and press the button. Any help???

might want to check inb the bios to see if it is enabled sometimes called soft off or power down or similar

Ugh...I checked both my Power Management Settings in my BIOS and tweaked around in there and to no avail. I also checked out the Microsoft links and none of them solved my prob, if anything it caused hang ups when i shutdown. Thanks anyway. Anyone else got a solution?

Did you look in the Power Options Properties? Look in the Advanced tab, and see what the Power Buttons settings are set to. That's the other things I can think of. Where's Toey???
