PC speaker cables???

Hi.
I got a creative 5.1 sound system about 4 years old.
Was wondering what type of cable it is between the sub and the 5 other.
is it called phono plugs?
as iv understod those cables aren't rly sound cables but rather signal cables?

What i need is an extention for those cables.
A cable plug to a cable plug would be the best.

if not i guess i have to cut all 5 of the cables and twin em together with some speaker cables.

You can get just about any sort of extention cable at radio shack, or do a search on amazon. If it looks like an older style video cable, it is indeed called a phono, or RCA style plug. The other common PC type connector is a 1/8 inch headhphone jack.
