screen resolution problem

i have toshiba laptop satelliet P205-S7469 my screen resolution is coming very bad after i download window seven so how can i permanently avoid this problem?

right click on the desktop>personalize>display options>change the resolution to whatever you want.

so many thank's for you attention to give me a solution,but i even did this but still no change, and the other problem is color balance problem, after it work in good way for som moment the screen com like blinking

Thank you very much for your attention, how do i know whether the computer has graphic display adapter i have no idea, so would you help me on this?
