Locked out of computer

Whenever I power-on my Toshiba Satellite M55-S325, I get a screen that says "Please Enter Built-in HDD user Password". I don't know the password. I misplaced the recovery disk. What can I do now?

You'll probably need to contact Toshiba -- anmd be prepared to offer proof of lawful ownership.

^ Or you could replace the HDD? Btw, you did try "password" right? :lol:

(Not sure if this is one of those TPM/BIOS based locks; but if it's a TrueCrypt,etc you can swap HDD as long as you don't care for the data).
