Windows 7 high memory and CPU usage

Hello all,

I am having trouble with a new build - there is very high memory and CPU usage by certain processes (svchost.exe, dwm.exe, IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe, TrustedInstaller,exe, and Google Chrome).

It seems to be interfering with things like Windows Update (EXTREMELY slow download and install) and internet browsing (webpages sometimes take longer to load).
