SO I've been playing around with overclocking my Athlon XP 1500 and have it running at 1625MHz at 1.68 volts at 54ºC(using MSI's Fuzzy Logic utility). So far it has brought my 3DMark2001 SE scores into the 10K range. Now I am running into a problem that started happening before I OC'd. When playing C&C Generals, I lose the picture then my PC locks up. Occasionally I get a refresh rate error, something like "this refresh rate is not supported". A little more background, I am sharing my rommates El Cheapo LCD monitor (like not even a name brand I recognize cheap) and am wondering if it may have strated frying my video card. I have yet to OC the card and won't till I fix this prob.
So I have 2 questions:
1) Has anybody OC'd their AXP1500 higher than 1625?
2) What could be causing this weird phenomena?

LCD monitors are usually fixed frequency. They have to convert any non-native frequency (from the VGA cable) to a 60Hz or 50Hz digital signal. From a DVI cable, they always run 60Hz or 50Hz as far as I know.

This is all based on third hand information that DVI uses 60Hz or 50Hz based on the country's power standard.

I upped the FSB to 120 from 100. I haven't messed with the multiplier side of things. I'm running an MSI KT4VL Mobo.
