Just curious how fast the SC reports during the "time test" in other
games.
Thanks!

Mine hovers around 105 and then slows down a little after the magnets
heat up to about 98.

kirb,

i believe a lower time reflects a faster speed. maybe your magnets were
just getting their timing down ;-)

Mine's around 125. I've seen faster and slower on other HS2's. Any
faster is putting excess wear on the ball, IMO.

Now that you say that it makes sense. I threw three balls in there to
get a very low time (all over the map, but around 20-40), so you are
correct that the lower times are faster.

I was getting 105, then after the three balls went through, the single
ball was time lowered to 95-98, but mostly around 98.

Hard to tell the diff from 95-105.

Mine was at 145. After replacing the diverter, it is down to about 90.
I even captured a picture when it was at 81! I've got some details
about the repair on my site.

92-97 (it's amazing how much faster this thing went after I discovered
a missing transistor on the accelerator board!) :)

Mine was at 87 but the diverter did not always seems to be in sync with the
supercharger (flaky opto?)

I disconnected a magnet and now I am at 105 and the diverter is always in
sync but the supercharger seems so much slower comapred to the 87.

Mike knows what this thing did at 87-screamin! (but flaky)

Jeff,

you mean after a roundabout with the SC, the ball would haul so much
ass that it would hit the diverter when it closes? I've seen that
happen before, the diverter not returning to the close position fast
enough.

I've never had mine drop below 68, usually its in the mid to low 70's. New
diverter installed a few months ago.

Yeah. Jeff's SC would sling the ball around soooooo damn fast the diverter
couldn't close fast enough. That ball zipped around!!! That's when I went
home and did a SC test and found the number to be 110 but it didn't seem to
move as fast. Go figure.
