I have replaced the ramp down/up switch and it still clicks. I do get a
message saying "ramp down error" "momentary short". I thought replacing
this switch would solve the problem, but no luck. If anyone knows what
the problem is, please reply.

First be sure you have the switch and diode wired right. If that is good
then check other switches on the same row or column that they are wired
right, and you don't have any wires shorting to metal. LTG :)

would you have the correct wiring for this switch? My switch has green
with blue wire connected to the Normally open and (2) yellow with red
wires connected to the 1N4001 Diode with the band of diode connected to
the Commom.

I had a similar issue and it ended up being one of the wires going to
the switch was actuall broke inside the insulation and was making
intermittant contact.
