Hello,
Every time I click to any link, in my e-mail to the internet, I get the message,"This file has no program associated with it." Ive tried to go to the default programs folder to fix this problem, per instructions but can't make sense of all the extensions listed.

More about : windows7 live mail

Have started to get "This file has no program associated with it for performing this action. please install a program or, if one is installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel"." No matter what link I try to click on to get to the internet, I get this message. I've tried to figure out what the instuctions to fix but, I find no file that's associated with "Live Mail" Don't have any idea why this started to happen.  HELP!!

Under default programs, set associations, there is a protocol section at the bottom. It should list http and https, those should both be pointed to your browser, like IE or chrome, or firefox.

Good luck.

Sounds like a virus or malware. Do you have good anti-virus? Also run MalwareBytes to find any additional problems on your computer.

make sure that .eml is associated with Windows Live Mail and that Windows Live Mail is set as your Default Email client.
