i am ware of the venue change btw.
last year some of the pins were set up outside of the exibit hall and
we were able to qualify until 2 am on thurs and friday. the hall of
course closed earlier.
is this how it will be this year? is there any way the hall can be open
from 9am- 2am ish all days so we dont have to wait around until 6pm
for it to open on thurs, fri? on saturday its open from 9am- 5pm then
closes... but we need longer hours. i am ware that it re-opens on
saturday night, but last year it re-opened at almost midnight from what
i recall. not everyone attends the seminars, a majority go just for
pinbrawl and the flip out tourney and many of us would like it open
during the day as well to get our moneys worth.
does anyone else agree or am i way off here?
thanks

Its too bad expo doesn't have mini tourny's like PAPA. (Or even a
legitimate B division for that matter) But I recon if there is a dollar
to be made keeping it open late they will try. That was a good idea
last year... I even qualified on Elvis while waiting for the
never-ending Pinbrawl qualifying to end.

I know, I know . . . .no more qualifying for Pinbrawl this year, so no
more waiting. Any people that played in PAPA that are going to Expo
need to sign up for PinBrawl, you don't know what you're missing. I may
be the president, but I'm also a client ;-)
Looking at those PAPA A division standings, I can think of about 30
players who are better than I am that should be signing up!

Hey, you'd be better too with another $600 or so to spend on entries!
Gotta beat your little brother next year. Heck, he's even on the PAPA
pictures site impersonating you accepting a prize.
<ducks>
Seriously, Pinbrawl rocks. Going match-play from the start this year
will rock even harder. -96- players? Awesome!
Oh, any word on likely Expo game this year? Presume NASCAR? Or the
next game??

I'm sure Zach is hoping it's Nascar after what he did to it in the PAPA
quarterfinals. (or was that me who did that . . .I get confused like
everyone else) :-)
-Josh . . .31st place, not to be confused with Zach . . . 4th place

The Stern guys I talked to said it will be Nascar on the line for
awhile, then Grand Prix, then use up the last of the 6809's re-running
whatever they decide to re-run. So no new game before Nov.

if expo was in october i would be more confident it would be nascar.
expo is mid novemeber this time thow...
so------if a release date for their next pin is late december or
january for example, they may have it at the expo b4 its actually
distributed maybe thow. i saw that a couple times in the past at expo
and a tourney in michigan.
they are tricky---those stern guys
