hi , after considering all of the ideas and suggestion that u guys gave , this is my new spec . Please give any other suggestion , about anythings

Use the onboard sound

-i'am worry about the RAM , as the mobo support up to DDR400 only , the provider said in the web site it is posible to use it . It only need to change the bios setings
-give comments regarding anythings about the system

Might be better to get 2x512mb ram ddr400 but with lower CL...like 2 or 2.5. And you can also enable dual channel:)

There's no point getting DDR500 unless you're going to overclock, in which case get the 2.8C instead. You should then be able to get 3.5Gghz with that memory in a 1:1 ratio.

If you don't want to overclock, then just buy DDR400 instead - you'll get no benifit from anything faster, plus it'll cost less.

I don't like Sony Optical drives. Lite-on are better.

Heya Dagang:
Here is a list of changes i would make for a better computer.

Motherboard: Abit IS7
DVD-Rom: Lite-On
Floppy: NOne
Graphics card: Genuine ATI 128MB, Asus is over priced.
Ram: Crucial PC3200 or higher

Thats about it, but these changes are critical, and the money you save will buy you a new Full Retail version of WinXP Pro online for $198 ye Scurvy Dog...Argh!

Ahem...yeah...anyway as i was saying...this is a better selection and is less expensive then the alternative.

Most of the Sony drives are rebadged LiteOn drive!

But getting a LiteOn is a better idea, because usually they cost less.

Go for the Intel 875P chipset which has PAT (faster memory access).

Go for an Intel motherboard that has automatic fan speed control according to system temprature.

Go for the Prescott which has 1MB L2 cache and SSE3.

1. The only real advantage of the 875P is that is supports ECC buffered RAM, which he's NOT buying.
2. Other board makers offer more features and performance for the money than Intel, the IS7 is a better choice
3. The Northwood 3.2 (512k cache) performs better in the majority of applications, due to more efficient architecture.

I had heard that, but the last sony drive (a DVD-ROM) I got sucked balls (wouldn't read most CDRs, Wouldn't read some DVDs, was just slow generally) I've never had any problems with Lite-on drives.
