More about create volume unallocated space
  1. What are you in when you get that window? What are you doing?
  2. You many partitions do you have on the drive?
  3. You probably just need to create another LOGICAL drive on the partition (in the unallocated space). Sounds like someone left some of the drive unallocated, I'm guessing.

Create a new LOGICAL drive on that drive with Disk Management, and choose to use all of the space left to allocate (Note: that will give you another drive letter [C, D and E, perhaps, if you already had a C: and a D:]).

If you're not sure that were talking about, though, ask.....we don't want to mess up something else.
