My laptop went in. the shop said they re-intalled the OS.

Hello,
The shop said they re-installed the OS on my laptop, but when i openned it now it asked REstore last browsing session?
It took my to the pages i was viewing last weeks ago before i took it in.
All my network passwords are working. I am wondering did they even do anything? All my data and files are still here also. Was it not supposed to wipe everything out?

From what info you have given, it sounds like they didnt. Open a command prompt and type in systeminfo and see what the OS install date is.

presumably you took PC into shop to be fixed
what was wrong then ?
Is it fixed now ?

An in place install over existing Windows OS sometimes works.
