Hi,

I have the <A HREF="http://www.necsolutions-am.com/mobilesolutions/products/MobilePro/P300/" target="_new"> NEC MobilePro P300 </A>, which has Windows CE 2002 for Pocket PC’s. It also has a USB host. My question is, if I get a <A HREF="http://www.pccables.com/cgi-bin/orders6.cgi?action=Showitem&id=ID892872&partno=70530&search=USB&rsite=pccables.comcgi&rcode=" target="_new"> converter </A> to go from the small USB size to the “normal” female size, can I use a thumb drive?

In order for it to work, the device must support your OS. I.e. why the thumb drive will not work on a windows 3.1 computer. I highly doubt that a pocket pc 2002 will carry drivers for usb devices, or if the manufacture of these thumbdrives ever considered it for use on a pocket pc. Because of driver issues, I doubt it would work.
