Is it possible to install Windows 7 on an Asus EEE 901, if yes what does it take to get the system to fuction without problems...?

It might be possible, but it wouldn't be worth the effort when you finished. The Atom CPU and 1GB of RAM will make for a rather unpleasant experience with Windows 7.
